Samsung to launch its ‘affordable’ 5G phone Galaxy F06 with 50 MP camera tomorrow

Samsung on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) announced that it will launch its ‘affordable’ 5G smartphone Galaxy F06 for entry segment buyers in India tomorrow. The Galaxy F06 5G will run the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB internal storage.

Galaxy F06 5G is going to support 12 5G bands across all telecom operators, the company said. “This device will provide a complete 5G experience at an affordable price, making 5G technology accessible for more users and accelerating its widespread adoption across the country.”

The South Korean electronics major will also provide 4 generations of Android upgrades and 4 years of security updates to the Galaxy F06 5G users in India.

The Galaxy F06 5G is going to use a 6.7-inch HD+ display having 800 nits peak brightness, and with a speculated refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The Galaxy F06 5G will have an 8 mm design profile with ‘Ripple Glow’ finish that shimmers when light falls on it.

Samsung will use a 50 MP main rear camera along with a 2 MP depth sensor in Galaxy F06 5G. It will have an 8 MP front camera, the Flipkart page created for it confirmed.

Galaxy F06 5G will ship with a 5,000 mAh battery, supported by a 25 W charger.

Samsung’s voice focus will also work with the Galaxy F06 5G that blocks unwanted noise. It will also come with Quick share and Knox Vault.

Galaxy F06 5G will come in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colours. It will be launched tomorrow in India and expected to come with an under ₹10k price tag.
