Lenovo launches ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 powered by AMD for AI tasks

Lenovo has launched the AMD ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 at their TechDay 2024 held in Bengaluru. The first laptop with 50 TOPS (Tera Operations per Second) of AI processing power that is also based on the x86 architecture, the device is equipped to handle AI tasks. 

The ThinkPad is available at a price point of Rs. 1,38,000 on the company website and retailers across India. 

The laptop is based on both an NPU, the AMD Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360 processor, and the GPU, AMD Radeon 880M, which makes the device ideal for graphic design and other intensive content creation-related tasks. 

It comes with a 14-inch WUXGA display featuring an 88% screen-to-body ratio, which delivers 400 nits of brightness with touch screen functionality thanks to 3M’s optical technology.

The company has also said that the laptop is made with up to 90% post-consumer recycled materials and plastic-free packaging which is also FSC-certified.
